Bulk Galvanizing - Group Discounts - NJ AREA

Hey guys, I'm going to get my roof rack galvanized. The way it works is once we get over 500lbs the price really drops, and the closer to 4000lbs we get the deeper the discount gets.
Sooo does anyone have stuff they want galzanized? Even if its just some small pieces this would benifit you the most. I was thinking I could go around one morning with my trailer, swing by everyones place and pick stuff up (or if its not too big you could drop it off at my house) and then make one drop off at the place and one delivery to everyone when its done. I was thinking about a week or two from now, but no rush, if people need to wait a little longer thats fine, i just dont want to put it off for months.
I'll be bringing it to V&S Galvanizing in South amboy NJ If we get over 500lbs it works out to be about 50 cents per pound figuring it needs to be stripped and galvanized.
Feel free to call me with any ?'s - 732-874-4134 or let me know about interest. I'm pretty good about checking the boards but you can email me at adriangubbay@gmail.com as well.
-Adrian

Damn, wish I had my shit together and could rebuild my tree sliders - would love to get them galvy'd and then top coated in black.

Great offer tho and good to know that there is a galvy place not too far away.

Sounds good. Dont rush, by the time this all gets organized I'm sure it will be at least 2 weeks. I still have to build the roof rack ladder anyways (prob next weekend).

Don't forget, V&S doest strip your parts of paint or rust,, they need to be prepped first.

You live in the Wayne area, right? My bumper was just blasted by a place near Maywood. I'll get the name today.

Garden State truck, I think it is in Wood-Ridge. It's near Moonachie.

And there is a Galvaniser near Newark Airport that is dirt cheap. They didn't have minimums when I talked to them.

V and a said they will strip paint and some rust but if it's really rusted then that should be prepped. The acid will take the paint off just fine

I have some stuff @ Ben Smiths place that needs galvy. Ben has a chassis and a few other bits to go in. My stuff is mostly powder coated so will definitely need to be professionally stripped first.

Sounds great. For those who were wondering if your items are painted , they will strip the paint off for you via a hot acid bath. I've confirmed this with them twice now and it will come out fine, There is a small adder (like 10cents. Per lbs) for those items that have to be stripped as well.

Adrian, is it too late to get in on this?

I have a bulkhead that needs stripping and galvanizing. If they can truly strip the paint for 10 cents per lb, it's well worth me driving the bulkhead up to you to have it galvanized.
