Build date

hello guys-
I am looking at a truck's UK Registration Certificate.
Is the first registration date the build date, or the date after the truck was first sold and first registered ?

The search function points me to the British motor museum for a certificate...
any fast way to confirm this?

It will be the date is was first purchased. This is the date you put on the document that goes to the DVLA for the vehicle registration.

You can request a build date by email for 6 pounds. It will arrive within a couple of business days.

No. The build date is the build date and the registration date is another date that is later. If the registration date is more than 25 years before today, then there is no problem. IMO, get an HMT certificate before filing export documents to ensure there are no issues. Better yet, hire a professional.
