Brake wiring problems

My left rear brake light wasn't working...upon further investigation I found the bulb socket & harness connector(?) to be bad. I bought a new bulb socket and wiring harness repair kit from RN. The wires coming out of the truck are a green, red/black, and a black. The wires from the "repair" harness are a green, red, and black. I assumed green to green, red/back to red, and black to black. My brake light now works fine but my signals do not? What's the deal. Fuses are good & when I switch my turn signals I hear a clicking sound...possible relay?

When I was working on mine, I actually had a bad bulb in addition to corroding wiring. Every time I switched on the blinker, I blew the indicator fuse. Took a few fuses to figure out the problem.

Spoke with a guy from RN for about 45 min today....still screwed up. Have brake lights ....but no directional lights on all 4 corners....switching the two relays in the fuse box makes the directional lights work except when I switch the left directional/signal light every light in the back (except reverse) blinks with the signal. HELP!!!
