Brake issues

Sure this easy . . . but heading out in the morning . . . realized brake lights are not working properly. Just got a new brake switch in and installed. Brake lights work when the lights are off, but when I turn them on don't see the change in light.

Signals work...

Perplexed. Recently switched to LED's and IIRC they tested correctly.

Gotta run out, but appreciate any thoughts on the issue.

Mike

did you get the running light and the brake light connections switched at the lamp side? when you depress the brakes and the lights are off you are probably lighting up the running light circuit...not the brake light circuit.

With the running lights on you already have the brighter "brake light" circuit activated and depressing the pedal and activating the running light circuit isnt going to make them any brighter....make sense?

TLDR switch the hot wires on the lamp side.

Also I texted you, you still coming for that part?
