Brake booster question...

When holding the brakes when slowing down to a stop I loose the the assisted braking right at the end. Would this be related to the booster itself or a bad vacuum pump ?

Checked the lines with no apparent leaks.

Thanks !

On a V8 there is a check valve. That would be my guess.
