bonnet weight??

I need to ship my bonnet (doing a trade) and I wanted to see what you all thought it weighed. Wont say what I think 'cause I dont want to bias you guys. I guess I could pull it off and take it down to fedex to see. Thoughts?

I had to replace my bonnet, and I bought one from roverland in FL. They shipped it via Greyhound (yes, the bus line), and it was really cheap. way cheaper than ups or fedex. catch is pickup and dropoff must be at bus station. I think it was like $45 to ship.

Don't make me drag that hood into the bathroom, again!!!!

Seriously, though... I deducted my current "scrappy" 213 from 240.5 and came up with 27 1/2.

I did it twice and came up with the same weight. The scale was on a dirty garage floor but my weight seemed about right so I figured the total weight with hood was probably okay too. Maybe my math skills are lacking.

If that is right, I need to start working out more diligently.

Mark - Is the bonnet you bought new or used? Did it match your paint or did you have to get it painted? What did you pay for it?

Thanks,
Ryan

I'm sure you're right on the weight, Rod. Just had to poke. I had mine off last Sunday, and it's got to be right around 30 pounds.

Ah, Heck... I knew you were pullin' my leg. It never hurts to keep me honest though.
