Bonnet Release Cable Clip -- Please Help!

My bonnet release cable on my D90 stopped working so like most I ordered up a new one before even bothering to look at it...further investigation while installing the new cable revealed that my real problem is that the small clip that holds the cable in place by the latch is gone. Does anyone have one of these they would like to donate/sell or know where to find small random parts like these?

Tie a double knot in the cable. Later ones have a bolt that holds it in place which is much better.

To clarify, I have the bolt/barrel nut that "attaches" the cable to the latch...what I am missing is the metal clip that holds the cable housing to the radiator support. Basically, when I currently try to pull the handle to open the latch, the whole cable assembly (inner cable and outer housing) flex and don't pull the lever to release the latch

Hopefully this photo helps (don't criticize Galpin's mean photo skills!)

To make it work "temporarily" you could take a bit of the old inner cable, attach one end to the latch and attach the other end to the body behind the grill. That's the way mine was when I got it, and it works fine, if you're not a purist. The cable angles down, so I just stick my fingers through the grill (third slot from the top) and pull it.

Ah, I see. NAS 110s are a bit different.
