Body Shop/Rover Repair Needed

The Horror! Gal in a Rav backed into my LE. Passenger side rear quarter in front of the wheel is fairly well bent and the panel tore around the seat box behind it. My searches on the topic would lead me to believe I need a new tub but I dunno.

Gal has AAA insurance and they said take it anywhere you want. I would love to send it to ECR but someplace on the west coast is probably more appropriate. I am just outside of Sacramento...anybody have a suggestion?

I will post a photo later when I have some light.

Thanks in advance.

Adam

Maybe take it to a place that works on jags, audis, nsx's, other alloy bodied cars. I don't know where dixon is, but Dell Autobody in Campbell CA is awesome.

I am also in need of a bunch of body parts for our Defender. Unfortunate incident involving my daughter, but everybody's completely unharmed. (Love those Rovers!!). Anyway, I have to do the repairs as cost effectively as I can, so I want to make sure I'm not overlooking some good sources for body parts. I've checked Rovers North, and I've also gotten some excellent pricing from Safari Rover and Rovers Down South. Used parts are just fine. Anywhere else I should be looking, and is there a special skill set needed to work on aluminum?
Thanks!

Peter, Ron Peppard has a 1997 LE rear tub for sale. I would also check with ECR to see if they have any parts.

I hate to hijack, I wonder if rocksliders would have helped? It does appear that the sill got missed. Sorry to see your Defender got hurt.

HD sliderz would have surely helped. When I Parked my Series 2A in NYC years ago and my wife and I were ready to open the doors and exit, a 20 year old came up fast from behind us that had decided to squeeze past a delivery truck and the series 2A. That Ford Taurus hit the right rear quarter section of the sliders so hard my rear axle broke (parked in gear) that car was traveling at least 20 mhp and missed my wife's door by an inch which she had already started to open. Shook up I went to see the damage- smal, dent rear quarter, small scuff scratch slider, and wife alive. The 20 year old's Taurus was not so lucky. The left side of is car had an open gash/tear from the frt fender accrooss the door to rear fender ripped open. Turns out it was his uncle's car, who talked to me on the phone and begged me to not make an insurance claim. We made a deal, and he immediately sent me a $600 check for repairs, some of which for valium for my wife.
