Body-Off Time Estimate

Day 1 of body-separation is in two weeks and I just wanted to get some input from those that have done a 110 before. How long did it take you to separate the body from the frame in terms of unscrewing, un-harnessing, unhooking, etc.? Is it unreasonable to think it could be done in something like 8 hours?

On an early truck with no major rust could probably be done in an hour or two by someone who has done one before.

Having ac/fan shroud/tons of electric add ons will just add time.

if you have done it before and lifting the body as one piece, yes.
Typically if doing this its because the chassis is rotten and that usually means everything is crusty and often means all the bolts have to be cut

I did it myself (other than the physical lift itself) in about 12 hours with no previous experience. That included cutting off aforementioned crusty hell bolts. I was a little crude with some bits that were going to the bin though to save time. I pulled the doors off to make life easier to lift it all off.
