Hey guys- I have an 85 3.5v8 that has been running great. I want to add a block heater, any suggestions here?

You can stick one of these sump heaters on in about 10 minutes....

Warms the oil; won't help you get cabin heat much faster...

The lower rad hose type are easy to install if you don't want to mess with a frost plug. I've used both types and they both work well even in the -30c range.

I have been using one of these on different engines around the farm to include the Massey ferguson and John Deere tractors (ie lots of iron to warm up).
Magnetic so no install, just open the hood and stick it to the block, plug it in for 30 mins, and the engines have started right up.

Frost plugs are 1.5". Temro/Zerostart part number is 3100039. Common heater used is lots of cars, so should be easy to find. 600 watts right in the coolant. More work than other options, but nothing works as well as a frost plug heater.
