Best place to buy a new chassis

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to upgrade my D90 to a galvanized chassis and am looking for any and all suggestions on where best to purchase? I've looked at Rovers North, but they only ship via FedEx, and as you might imagine their prices to ship a frame are outrageous. Do you know of anyone better or easier? BTW I live in Colorado.

Zack/RN got me a quote to ship a 110 chassis to me last week. $600
Seemed pretty reasonable to me given how they ship, ie truck freight

Oh ok, it seemed really high to me given what I paid to have my car shipped out here. But I trust you guys.

Will they ship to you if you arrange the carrier? Also would they ship FedEx (or others) and bill a customer account instead of billing through them?

I get a pretty good rate on my shipping and was curious what my options are if and when I need freight shipping from them or other vendors.

It is about the size of a car, but needs to be moved by forklift, rather than under its own power.

We are happy to let you use another provider if you can get them to come pick it up.

If he can get a better deal on shipping just give him a better deal on the chassis Or he should have his shop buy it for him

Seems your question is really how much does it cost to ship a chassis, rather than where is the best place to buy a chassis.

Little misleading thread title.

It was actually a little of both. I know some chassis are built thicker/thinner and didn't know if there was a general community opinion on a must have option.

AB ships them loose so expect some damage.

RN packs them extremely well

Best place to buy a new chassis

I ordered mine through TDIGuy, a Richards 110 300tdi and the price was great. Not sure if Randy is still doing chassis orders
