Too bad.
Here are a few more from their 2010 listing (and I was surprised to see that Amica is tied for second place now):
NJM (New Jersey Manufacturers Group)
Auto-Owners Insurance Group
Erie Insurance Group
The Auto Club Group
Auto Club Enterprises Group
American Family
Hartford

Unfortunately, you will probably wind up with a specialty carrier and they are very seldom cheap. They work the fringes of the market where the risks are higher but so are the premiums.

Good luck. I know my 1994 D-90 300 TDI is way underinsured without a stated value policy and it is worrisome.

American Collectors

American Collectors
Loosely Affiliated/Recommended by USAA
If I remember correctly you can get up too 60K agreed value no questions asked, then above that you have to provide photos and description of what/why it needs more insurance.

Never had to use yet so no recommendation on quality, but coverage is very affordable.

Are there any Chubb users out there? I am happy with them. I have a decent agreed policy with bazillion dollar limits for about $150 a month 7 miles from NYC in the highest cost of insurance areas in the country. That includes unlimited mileage.... I bet in the Carolinas I bet it would be only $75 a month.

any restrictions? i.e., do you have another car as your primary daily driver, and/or does it have to be kept in a locked garage?

I have USAA on my J**P and Hagerty on my Defender. Hagerty saved me 250 dollars or more per year compared to USAA.

problem with Hagerty is you have to have another vehicle as your primary daily driver.

Daily driver; yes, Unlimited mileage; yes, no garage requirement, It's also insured with lever action 45/70 (+P) Marlin....

You will need an appraisal for any policy over book value. I got mine fairly easy..
