Best deal for Tree Sliders ?

Hello

I've been looking around for a pair of tree sliders (aka nerf bars) and this is what
i've found so far:

UK market

Paddock (paddockspares.com): 270 USD

Rebel 4x4 (rebel4x4.co.uk): 290 USD

South Down (southdown4x4.co.uk): 420 USD (look strong)

First Four (firstfouroffroad.co.uk): 280 USD

Devon (devon4x4.com): 458 USD (look like the south down)

I'm calculating 2 USD for 1 GBP. Next step is to quote shipping.

US market

Found nothing, zero, niet...

Any advice , input, suggestion, comment is welcome

Do you mean rocksliders? If so, DAP sells Bearmach Rocksliders for a good price. I put a pair on my 110 and I'm pleased with them. From DAP's website:

BA 109 - Defender 90, black nylon coating - $225.00
BA109G - Defender 90, galvanized - $249.95
BA 110 - Defender 110, black nylon coating - $235.00
BA 110G - Defender 110, galvanized - $299.95

I have these and I think that they would work for you application. Great combo...rock slider/nerf bar. Plus they are hot dipped galvanized and you don't have to worry about rust. Mine have seen some abuse and never let me down. Over all I really like them.

We will be stocking the tree sliders to protect the upper body panels like BA3690 on this page.
http://www.bramracing.co.uk/acatalog...rotection.html

We no longer carry the rocksliders with nerf bar.

You may want to contact: http://dev1.boomersdomain.com/cgi-bi...ers/op=eq.html
They make what you're after for the 110.

Have you got in contact with Rockware or RoverTym? They should also be able to fabricate what you want.

Sadly last time I checked Rovertym wasn't making sliders for Defenders. Granted I haven't talked to Steve in a couple of months.

I've been thru all 3, no tree sliders for D90 there .

I think I'll order in UK, lot of bucks for shippers...

If you buy 3x3 steel you can make your own for cheap and easy, plus they will stick out far enough to bounce you off any palm tree.
