Question Best Battery Disconnect Switch?

Hi all - long time no see! Wondering what the cleanest battery disconnect switch is that would switch inside the box, but operated from the other side beneath the seat. My truck keeps murdering batteries sitting in the garage for extended periods.

Thanks for any pointers!

For my winch I use a Cole Hersee 2000A.
But if it's just for your starting battery and you don't have high current drains like you would with a winch, something in the 100-200amp continuous duty would be fine. Like a Cole Hersee M290-01, brass case, silver contacts with o-ring seal in the saft. 1000A intermittent, 125A continuous.

But really the best thing is to correct the source of your drain.

My D came with a marine switch mounted on the front of the drivers seat box. Push in and turn it to shut off the battery.

To find a drain on other cars, I have hooked up a multi-meter measuring milli-amps between one of the battery cables and the battery, and took a reading. I think anything over like 40 mA is bad. I then had someone pull fuses until the mA measured dropped. That will at least point you in the direction. This is a decent link:

Search for the drain issue. Door/key chimer, clock and a couple other things have come up as the culprit.

I had a cd player that was continuously on in my 110 that killed multiple batteries for the previous owner. I sat in the car with the key out and could hear the disc cartridge running. Took it out and never had another issue.
