bentley service manual?

does anyone have this, is it usefull?
I'm about to start tearing into my engine with new head gaskets, cam and probably new bottom end bearings to try and get another 35k out of my motor.
I saw this on amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...T7QDY&v=glance

is it worth it? any other manuals you guys can recommend?

Its not really a "Bentley" manual in the sense of the BMW and VW ones you may be used to, its nothing more than a Rover publication number LRL0164/LRL0004. Its a fine pub, but dont expect a typical Bentley pub.

Check out the new CD-Rom disc from Rovers North. I just got mine in today. It includes the following for $24.99. All from Land Rover.

Parts Publications

Workshop Publications
Service Manual Defender 90 & 110 1993 to 1997
Service Manual Defender 90 1996 to 1997
Overhaul Manuals Defender 90, 110 & 130 1993 to 1997
Electrical References and Circuit Diagrams 1997

Owners' Literature

A bunch of other stuff.

Have not had a chance to look at it yet, but looks good.

Maybe helpful, maybe not. Good Luck!!

i just ordered the bmw one, thanks for the info, i was told it was the best i could get, i figure considering the cheapest bmw labor charge i've found in the area is 107 an hour i'm sure it will pay for itself very quickly.
