Bent Rim

Just bent my stock steel rim on a fire hydrant in downtown Atlanta (Long story). It still holds air but since I am driving six hours back to Florida on Sunday I figured I would ask your opinions regarding keeping it on or putting on the spare. Thoughts?

that's nothing!
I can't vouch for the sidewall though, who knows what's going on in there, but that rim lip is fine.
Tire notwithstanding, you could drive indefinitely. the bead face looks fine from here.

Sidewall looks good. Thanks for the insight. Truly do not feel like changing a tire tonight.

Agreed but you need to come up with a better story than a fire hydrant in Atlanta.

I thought dogs were the only ones that liked to associate leaks and fire hydrants?

Short, silver, and damn hard. Kinda leaning onto a tight street. Thought it trashed the tub from the sound of it. Ended up only bending the rim which I will punish with a hammer tomorrow. Told the wife it was her fault for talking. And then the helicopter came.
