Tighten them or replace them. belt dressing just covers a problem it doesn't fix it. Does it squeal worse when the heat and headlights are on? Or when the AC is switched on? Check for play all the belts can be tightened easily enough.

nah just at start up, I never use the AC, they never make noise when the heat lights (electrical) stuff is running. when I have been driven it and has had time to warm up a lot it doesnt do it, mostly does when it is cold and just at start-up.

Chances are its your power steering belt. I just replaced all my belts and I had to re-tighten the power steering belt as on start-up it squealed.

Also, I take a bar of soap and hold it VERY CAREFULLY against the inside of the belt while the engine is running to remove any grease/oil on squeaky belts. Loose belts are easy to identify.

yeah I have heard that also, I checked the power steering fluid it needed a "top up" I am not sure that this contributes to the problem but o well. thanks for the input I might change the belts sometime.

topping up changes nothing with the squeel, but still good to do. Try the soap--l use Neutrogena and it works fantastic (no oily residue...._)
