Bell housing question

Can anyone tell me if the bell housing from a series Rover will fit between a 300tdi and an R380 trans? From, what I've been able to find, there is some compatibility between the 200 td and the LT77 but I can't find much info on the R380.
Thanks

If you are asking if you can remove a bellhousing from a series transmission and bolt it up to an R380, the answer is NO.

While the LT77 belhousing is similar, it is a different length front to back, so you cannot use it on an R380 because the R380 first motion shaft (primary pinion) is of different length.

Mike,
I have a R380/300TDi bellhousing you can have if you can pick it up. When we replaced the clutch we found that one of the studs and surrounding area was missing. It was running around like that for many years, so I'm not sure how imperative it is......um wait, before everyone laughs at me and jumps all over me for suggesting to install a chipped bellhousing....consider the fact that an OEM bellhousing can run as high as $4-$500 (and I think much higher depending) depending upon where you find one.
I was thinking that depending upon what your needs are (fitting purposes, mock-up, or temporary), my bellhousing may fill the void and its free.....and relatively local.

I'll take pics later.

If Mike doesn't take this, I am interested and would pay for shipping.

You could most likely have the belhousing repaired,
It's cast aluminum and can be welded.
