I've seen those, but I don't like that you just stick the bare wires in there and hold them in place with the bolt.

What if you got a battery with top and side terminals? Use both!

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

That's a great option if you are already buying a new battery. I have an Interstate 1000 cranking amp AGM battery already, so replacing the battery for a different terminal setup isn't cost effective.

I have the quick OJOPs from Carl & my plan is to use marine grade terminals to work out the distro. Big gauge from OJOP to this terminal. Then another big cable straight to starter & smaller to other accessories.

Maserati just quoted me $80, at the dealership in town, and told me the pos has different setup but two negatives should work. starting to get steep $$

Why would you need to quick disconnect the positive?
