Where is the battery on a 1997 d-90

Under the drivers seat. Pull the handle at the front of the seat to remove the seat base. Then remove the black cover. Voila ... Battery.

Actually PULL UP on the front of the seat (note the alignment studs on the back of the seat for proper re-insertion & position). See the metal plate below where the seat was, there's a catch on the front. Un-snap it & slide plate forward.
