Badger surry and an SD rack

I hadn't even thought about it but I'd planned to run the surry with my new SD rack for the summer... not taking into account the fact that the surry top wraps around the same bar the rack feet are supposed to grab onto...

So... do I try and see if I can have my top altered with holes for the rack feet or should I just judge it as SOL and find a new top to run for the summer?

You can have top altered pretty easily. I know Chris at badger can do it and also any local awning or canvas repair shop can do it. You can also check places the custom make boat tops.

I know I _can_ have it altered... I guess I'm more looking for opinions regarding if I should...

p.s. my parents live in South Jordan...

I'd get the top modified.

I have an altered Badger Surry in Black that I would trade. It was altered by Chris
[Badger] for a SD rack. I'll also be down in Denver next weekend if you want to meet up and try it out.

I would get it altered if it was mine. So Where do you parents live in South Jordan? I am very close to Day Break.
