Badger Soft Tops

I have a 1995 ST and I was thinking about getting a new soft top and seat covers. I've only heard good things about Badger Coach Works. Does anyone know about the tops and seat covers that ECR makes in house? I'd imagine that since they're ECR they must be good. Also, does anyone have knowledge about the different Badger tops and which is best?

Thank you,
Charles

I don't think you can get an ECR top unless your truck is there. Badger makes nice stuff. Check his site for detailed pics and descriptions of the tops

I was planning to send my truck back up there sooner than latter so if anyone has any information or advice regarding their tops it'd be appreciated. I'll look on his website. Is there any particular model that anyone recommends?

I have the gutterkit one where the rear side windows are removable. For my use I like it. Lots of people like the top with the roll up side windows. I didn't go that route because I drive withe windows out April to November. I figured the windows rolled up would be loud.

Considering very few of us have sent our trucks to ECR, and even fewer have a top by them, you should be the guinea pig. Their designs are very similar but I think ECR had changes the design a little around the door tops. Not sure how many more accolades you need to hear regarding the Badger products.

Very happy with the Badger II with gutter kit...very snug fit, once you get the sequence down right, it is easy and quick to remove/replace. Gutter kit seals better, allows for interior netting/stowage (my option), and tonneau cover as well. I added Velcro straps at the sides of the doors attaching to the side rails of the gutter kit which stops almost all the flapping of the side windows...I use the window bag vs roll up. I added a sunroof which may not work for everyone as the cab gets pretty hot/bright...usually covered up with an interior shade (in the netting).

very high quality, as mine is 5 + years old, is taken off/on, rolled up at least 20 times/year...used year round.

gutter kit is a must-have if you plan on using it in any kind of weather...

Badger hands down.

Do you want to buy a top from a guy that does just tops and that is his core compentency or from someone who does not.

If you are driving as a fair weather truck get the 1 with FSD. If more inclement conditions get the Gutter Kit.

attached is a Badger 1 in dark grey with Gutter Kit.
