Badger Seat Covers- Thought you guys should know

Hey, Perhaps this is the wrong place to post this, but it was hard to put this in a category.

I called today to order seat covers for the 110. I was clearly expecting to hear the proverbial "they will be completed in 3 months or the like".
Amazingly, Chris had them in stock and on the shelf for shipping. I placed the order today and will have seat covers by Friday!

Thought you guys that may have waited to order yours thinking that you wouldn't be able to handle the long wait time, ... well wait no more. In stock and ready to ship.

I am completely stoked about having them arrive. Chris explained that he had someone that was working for the summer and did nothing but cut fabric. He now has plenty of the covers ready to ship.

Just thought you guys should know. Thanks Chris!!

Dendy

So everyone likes their seat covers? Are they machine washable? Do they feel weird to sit on compared to the regular seats. I have a gutter kit soft top and I agree Chris is great. was about to buy the covers but wanted to hear from everyone first.

Yep. You can certainly throw them in the wash! I have done it a few times. As for the feel, they're a bit more grippy on your clothes, but not by much. From a comfort perspective, I like to have them on rather than off.

That actually was the deal maker for me. Originally, I was going to put the Sand Storm or Exmoor Canvas covers in my 110. In the meantime, I moved my Badgers from the 90 to the 110 until I could get the canvas order sussed out. Well, the Badgers are so much more comfortable that I had to just get the rest of the badgers to go in the 110. Seems they hold the sides of the seat foam from falling on you when you are riding.

As far as washing is concerned. Chris recommends NOT washing, however, ... When I got my 90 these covers were on the truck and so covered in coffee stains that the dealer said "I would just throw those away if I were you." Well, I put them on a gentle cycle and ran them through a cold wash. They came out LIKE NEW! I was stunned at how clean they came. NO coffee stains left. Chris says if you wash them to treat them with scotch guard afterwards, but mine still bead water, so I didn't bother.

I'll post a pic when they arrive and I get the rest installed.

Thanks
Dendy

Maybe Chris will give us insight as to why he doesn't recommend washing them, but I'm with Dendy that they come out perfectly after light wash and, as far as I can tell, there are no adverse effects. Maybe after repeated washing over a long period?

The material we use will start to fray on the cut edges and cut down on the life of the product. Maybe I am wrong. If it does start to fray from excessive washing, then I get to sell more seat covers. Wash away guys

Well, I got to tell you Chris! GREAT JOB on my covers.
The 110 looks like a million bucks (no wait, ... I think that is how much I have into it! ... on second thought ... I digress)

I will post pics when the weather clears here.

Thanks
Dendy
