Curious about the difference between the LR 110 and LR 130 wheels... I ask because I am currently looking for a set of NATO or 110 rims. What's special about the 130 wheel?

Ron,

The 130 rims are the ones that came with the NAS 110s. They're deep-dish (deeper than the stock UK 110 rims). The 130 rims are 16 x 7 (or 7.50) and the 110 rims are 16 x 5.5 (or 6). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The NATO is totally different from the stock LR 110/130 rims. They have the holes.

Hi,
I just put a set of the Wolf wheels on, I could of swore that At. British said they were the same BS as stock D90's, whatever the case, you can't go wrong with the Wolf, I think they look bad ass on any D90.

Glenn, thanks for clearing it up. I had NAS 110 No. 200 at one time and remember the stock rims were deep-dish. I suppose that is the only difference between the 110 and 130? I know the NATO/Wolf rims have the holes in them, I think they are pretty bad-ass too...

Yup... I like those NATO rims a lot. That's right, I remember you saying you had a NAS 110 at one point. Cool truck!

... and to keep this thread from being hi-jacked...

Troy, which stock D1 alloys are you reffering too? You may or may not know, but the Tornado (stock D90) was the stock D1 alloy for certain years as well. Then there is the Deep Dish and the Castor. I have the 110 (UK) rims at home, I'll measure them and post later.

Hi,
NAS D110 (ANR1534PM) are 6.5", tubed (only) . Nato can be ordered both tubeless or tubed, they are also 6.5" with about a .25" further inset than the NAS D110.
I would also add a question: what is the bolt path on D90 rims?

Troy,
You should edit your original post with the updated information.

Francesco I think you listed width not backspacing.

I would also like to know the backspacing on wolf and 110 NAS wheels.
Dennis

I know Dennis,
I was just putting my 2 cents on wheels info. Again there both NAS and Nato/Wolf are 6.5" width. About the backspacing I only know what I wrote (.25" difference). D130s come with Nato tubed. So Ron you know have the info you were looking for.

I decided to take matters into my own hands this afternoon after seeing the response to the post. I gathered a group of fellow rover owners to my shop today for a "lunch". Those present included: 1-NAS D110, 1-D1, 1-NAS D90, 1-Used Wolf Rim. This is what I discovered:

Stock D90 Alloys-ANR1689 = 16"x7" with a 5.5" backspacing
Stock D1 Alloys-NTC9976 = 16"x7" (unable to accuratly determine backspacing B/C of tire)
NAS D110 Steel Rim - ANR1534 = 16"x6.5" with a 4.5" backspacing
Wolf (Tubeless) ANR4583 = 16"x6.5" with a 5.5" backspacing
Wolf (Tube) ANR5593 = 16"x6.5" with a 5.5" backspacing
D130 Steel Rims - ANR1634 = 16"x6.5" with a 4.75" backspacing(may have been 4.5")

The Wolf rims and the "D130" Rims seem to be a heavier duty rim, at least heavier than the NAS D110 rims. I am currently running the D130 rims that were purcahsed from ECR and painted. I have recently become fairly familiar with having stuff powder coated and from what I can see, I would not have wheels done.

Thanks for the input. I didn't know the question would get so much attention.

Troy

The more "normal " 90 and 110 steel rims are 16x5.5, backspacing is around 4.75".
