Axle looks not so Good?

I'm assuming this isn't normal?

This a regular old 110 CV right?

Good ones are expensive. I might have my old stock ones laying around somewhere.

Actually, for a 10 spline shaft, this is kinda normal..... (well, after some enthusiastic driving it is )

CV joint looks OK, just the shaft is twisted. grab hold of the (twisted) end of the shaft, allow the CV to hang to the floor. get a soft faced hammer and smack the back og the CV downwards (towards the floor)

After a whack or 3, the shaft will pop out. new one just pushes in (with the little retaining clip pressed in with a small screwdriver as you push the shaft)

No lockers, just a 1983 110 that looks like it was put through the paces

When I imported it for Ron that truck had club stickers and event stickers all over it. Its safe to say that truck had been wheeled extensively.

But it looks like they were good with the up-keep, except the axles that is.

Yes the truck was in incredible original condition-especially given what Ron paid for it. Thats not poor maint. You (or @ least I can) twist one like that when its a brand new shaft.
