AutoZone tool hire ia awesome!

Had a mysterious loss of coolant which has been getting worse over last couple of days ... Suspected the worst ... Head gasket ...

Went to autozone to rent a head gasket leak test kit and whilst there also got a pressure tester

Pressure tester found problem straight away ... Pumped cooling system up to pressure And hose leak immediately made itself known. The b'stard hose behind the water pump of course! Few hours with a spot light and some modified hoses from autozones selection and all fixed.

Tomorrow will test for head gasket leak but hopefully that's not a problem.

Cost for rental?

Zero dollars.

Having the right tools for the job is priceless and zero price is even better.

If you have overheating problems ... Rent a pressure tester and check the integrity of your cooling lines.

Make sure you join the rewards program. After 5 purchases of 20 dollars plus gets you a decent reward (I think 20 bucks).

Also the one by me gives me 10 percent off for being a Veteran.
