Barnes auto transport listed here brought 3 of my rovers from LA to Maine as well as my Porsche and did a great job. Jeff Barnes is an owner operator and familiar with our trucks. Give him a call.

DMT does not go to the west coast. Mike at DMT is awesome though.

Lily at Mercury Auto just shipped mine from Wyoming to VA. I think the guys like Barnes at best, but Mercury explained the process, quotes etc and were very helpful.

I used AutoZipper (autozipper.com)--a broker that paired me with one of their shipping companies. The D90 was shipped door to door from CT to CA in exactly one week with no instances of damage or theft.

I would stay away from DAS--they do a lot of business but i hear a lot of horror stories as well. I spoke with Barnes Auto Transport and was impressed with their professionalism, just our schedules weren't aligned.

I've used them a lot; they're reasonably inexpensive, dependable and I've never had a problem with any type of damage when I've used them.

DAS sucks. My first D90 they were supposed pick up within two weeks and never showed up. F'in nightmare. Brokers suck in general. Find an owner operator like DMT so you are dealing with the actual person picking up your truck.

I've used Athena Hall for my D90 twice and for another car twice as well. No issues. I think others on this forum have used her as well. Very nice and no issues.

I can highly recommend these people: http://www.demoise.com/
And I had used DAS previously. No comparison ... service with Demoise is top notch. Great guys. They move the special Audi cars around for shows for Audi I believe. Nice guys, family operation, group of brothers who are owner operators.
I used DAS once, and car was transported ok. But I would not use again. My 2nd time shipping a car from LA to NY, I used Demoise, and would do so again. I got lucky once ... using DAS ... I would not take my chances on getting lucky a 2nd time. Hope all goes well for you.
Karl.
