Auto dimmer rear view mirror for defender

Is there a factory auto dimmer rear view mirror for defender? Just changed new heated windshield on NAS 110 and RN doesn't have it. Thanks

Sal

Being that land rover used a lot of the same parts on different models, I would say its probably the same as a range rover classic one.. It has auto dimmer and switched map lights under the bottom of it..and attached to the window like defender... If buying used just make sure that it doesn't have the dreaded oil leak circle in it... That's a sign that the dimming fluid has leaked and no more auto dim...

But I'd probably be more inclined to adapt a later one with the electronic compass in it... Look on eBay and there are plenty good aftermarket knew available.. Even with a screen that comes in when placed in reverse for a camera...

'92 and up RRClassic mirrors have the built in maplights on the bottom.
They also seem to last better than Disco dimmer mirrors. I think.

Thanks, Guy! Will look for factory first like from RRC's then aftermarket. D2 mirror arm is shorter than defenders? It's will been a while I sold my D2 G4 so I have nothing to compare.
