Attaching limb risers to an ARB bullbar

Looking for some ideas here. I do not have tabs for them.

The plan is to run them up to the roof rack bars /basket I'm going to do.

Arb antenna mounts?

Actually the Expo-sexual thing is running limb risers in the first place.
Let's face it folks, there's no place in the contiguous states where limb risers are actually needed. I've wheeled some seriously thick forest in northern Wisconsin and Michigan's UP and never have I found myself wishing for them.
If you're running the Camel Trophy or doing a photo shoot then go for it. Otherwise don't be "that guy".

Actually, I lost a windshield back in the day in my old CJ7, would have been nice to have them instead of forking out for new glass.

Whatever you use to attach them with think about how strong they'll be if you are in an accident. Removable are the best route so you can take them off when you aren't using them actively.

I have too been hit in the windshield by...... (wait for it......)

A

tree branch.

Actually I was thinking about it for the TAT..
Which being an unmaintained motorcycle track, might/maybe/possibly have some worthy branches ..

I might have been drinking earlier.....
I still don't see their point. If its that thick I go slow. If I encounter a big branch I'll clear it for the rest of the group.
Maybe the windscreen on a D90 is more vertical than a D1 and doesn't allow branches to self clear as easily, IDK.

If somebody forced me to run limb risers I'd do something like this (but painted black)

Haha, I know you hate limb risers, Brett, but they are nice to have. On a defender there's really no downside, and the windshield is a good amount more prone to damage than a disco.

They make sense from the standpoint of lifting branches away from the cage and snorkel so stuff doesn't get snagged. A Disco has better lines for deflecting and nothing to get snagged.

And besides they look cool and when the ladies toss their panties at my truck they will snag them and keep my vision panty free while navigating the mean streets of Stuart. Not to mention just adding to the overall awesomeness of a trip to the mall.

I also find them helpful to help deflect innocent pedestrians and homeless drifters when they so callously decide to walk out in front of my Defender while I'm barreling through crosswalks and yellow lights. Green light, go. Red light, stop. Yellow light....go very fast.
