Do a search on their name. Some think they are absolutely amazing and build space shuttle quality vehicles. Others think they are over priced, blinged out leaky shitboxes that are not near worth the stupidly expensive price tags they try to justify with slick online marketing.

They are probably a good shop. The big downside is that they can only build to original spec as it must meet import regulations. It makes more sense to build a vehicle after import so that you can make any improvements that you want.

There has been a lot written, speculated about and actually reviewed and observed. My personal experience is well documented on the site. They are a class A act. And build HIGH quality vehicles. As was said above they are unfortunately limited on importing original vehicles. If you are looking stateside you cant go past Safari HP

Hit up my friend Joe (havens51 here on this site) - he owns an Arkonic and has a lot of experience dealing with them if you want direct feedback from an actual customer.

I have met the owner (Andy Hayes) and spent some time with him. And leant my garage out to him and his mechanic for some impromptu minor repairs to Joe's truck here in the states. So some experience but I am not an owner but did have about a week to crawl around their truck in my garage and have experience rebuilding my NAS D110 so had some idea of where to look for where they could have cut corners and such. IE - I am not an expert and only my opinion - but I would say that what I saw was quality work and I would also say the people I met from there (including the owner) were quality people that I would trust with my business.

BTW - I know there were a lot of posts and threads out there on Arkonic. But when I searched there was almost nothing there. Were the prior posts removed??

You are indeed correct, it seems that all negative comments about Arkonik (and there were many) have been removed from this forum. Probably happened after the site was sold to the evil corporate capitalists.

Funny these don't show up on the site search function, but I can find them on Google. By the way, the actual spelling is "Arkonik".

Arkonik, did you have lawyers contact this site's administrators or owners to threaten litigation unless negative comments were removed?

It seems like all the threads are still there, but the search function for the site doesn't pick them up. A google search for "Arkonik Defender Source" brings up several threads. But the site search doesn't.

Here are a few pics of my builds. Bang for your buck you will not find a better build.
I don't think Arkonic can build you a vehicle to this level, Also they would not be able to ship it out here.

a little overboard with the rivets don't you think? Its a nice looking truck but the sheer volume of unfinished rivets is distracting IMO

I don't get the rivets. They are all over the place. Where did the spot welds go?

As for Arkonik, no thanks. I saw a couple of their trucks in person in nj and it's not for me. Their choices are all about bling and little to do with quality.

The truck I saw had a puma bulkhead but a crap mud uk dash. Made no sense why they would use a closed bulkhead with a dash for open vents.

I sure don't miss the 10+ daily posts complete with upside down and sideways pictures that Arkonic used to post. The endless commentary of how everything they did was so perfect and amazing.

There's more to this than meets the eye... disappearing posts, threads etc.

It's hard for me to overstate how not a fan I am of having Arkonic splashed across the front of the bonnet.

Also, the name is weird. Reminds me of the "Lazy Sunday" SNL music video.
