arb switches - where to put

Folks,
I'm getting ready to install ARBs into my truck. I've got the stuff, but I'm now trying to figure out where the best place to put the switches would be. Anyone got pics of your switches willing to share?
tnx

no pics, but SG makes a console you put in between the vents of the dash. That is what I used. Check the custom section or the faq. I thik there use to be a picture of where someone else placed theirs. I believe there was a whole write up on installing ARB lockers

I too am trying to figure the best location for the switches. I did a brief search for a photo of the SG bracket you refered to but no luck. Any chance you could post a photo of yours?

Thanks Brian. Seen the write up, but alas it is all about the the rear diff. Nothing on the switches.

Rover's Down South sells the switch and radio panels for that location between the vents. These are the switch panels for the SW, where the rear defroster and wiper switches would go. You can just make a plate and mount your switches there. I don't think they are too much, maybe $30 if I remember correctly.

Sorry no digital camera. it is a clean install and has room for more switches/guages. It is black plastic. it goes over the top of the area the clock and cigar lighter. it fills the area between the top and bottom of the opening in the dash. I am sure SG could send you a picture.

Another location would be in the piece of dash where the dimmer switch is. there is 2 more cutouts available in that section that comes off seperately.

I also put my compressor under the passenger seat. there is plenty of room there. I have had zero problems with it.

I had a local sheetmetal shop fabricate a box that sits between my console and difflock lever. I installed the switches there. Mine are wired up to light up with the dash lights and they are bright enough that I didn't want them on the dash. They are way brighter than any of my other dash lights. They are ARB switches.
