Anyone seen this type of windshield heater?

Anyone seen this type of windshield heater, and how do you remove it? (wire runs to two more of these further along the windshield) Googling "windshield heater" doesn't produce any exact matches. I want to remove it. Tugged at the base with pliers but seems stuck fast. Don't want to apply more force in case the thing is looping under the windshield glass. How should I remove it?

Heated windscreen has tiny wires embedded in the lamination between the glass. All you can do is remove the wiring. If you don't want that kind of glass you will have to replace it.

Trust me you want a heated windscreen in winter.

thanks, you're right .. .

Shined a flashlight on the windshield . . . I can see the fine wires now. I wonder if the windshield was factory OEM. Says "Pilkington." Probably going to take out the 93 Wrangler during the frost season.

If it works I'll buy it from you. Shoot me a PM if interested.
