Modern Plastic technology is pretty fantastic. ABS is pretty tough stuff. I would wager these are Vacu-formed rather than injection molded unless someone kicked out the $$$ for a couple of big expensive molds.
I'd be curious to know the wall thickness.
They won't melt in the summer heat but might crack in very cold weather unless they have a filler like fiberglass or the like.
Properly painted and sealed they won't loose the plastifiers and elastomers that make them flexible for a long time.

I'm pretty sure Ron's truck didn't come with plastic fenders.

If it did, they would not be smashed in. They would be cracked OTOH, the matte black flares survived fine.

What about fiberglass?
A friend made some here, one piece for
the whole thing, side fender, top and front.
They're not installed yet, but they look good
and they're super light.

Ask your friend how much he would charge me for a hood. Seriously. Thanks

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

Humvee style? Those really don't have a good history for robustness.

No hood yet, but may be he will, i'll ask him.
The fenders are one piece for side and front, does
not include the top of the wing, my mistake .

Anyway even if he does hood at some point, shipping
is going to be a killer .

I have myself tons of LR parts i can't sell because i
have no market here and shipping will kill my business.

I just purchased some from the UK. They are plastic in a black finish. My thought process is that they will take a little more abuse than the Alm. From my understanding they are quite the rave in the off road crowd in the UK? You can also get them with or with out the vents, on both sides. You can find tons of them on Ebay UK. They are about 68 pounds but the shipping is the killer.
