Anyone know the thread size on a 200Tdi coolant temp sender?

Also, how about a Series III temp sender? I'm trying to work out how to accurately (loose term) monitor my ect of my 200tdi, using my original SIII dash.. I've heard there is a brass adapter on the 2.5L that screws into the coolant port, and the internal thread matches that of the S3 sender... I'm hesitant to call RN, as I'm sure it will be spendy. I'm thinking Mcmaster probably has what I need for a little less.

Any Ideas? Anyone know the ohms range for any of these senders?

Thanks!

Defender or Disco 200TDI? I believe they are different.

Defender 200TDI is 5/8" NF.

Thanks.. Are you using an aftermarket CFO gauge, or a d90 cluster?

And on a random note, how much is a d90 fiberglass hardtop worth in"good" not perfect condition? I'm working on a trade...
