Anyone installed the new climate control labels?

It is my understanding that they have stopped making the climate control labels which used to be 4 or 5 bucks a piece. Now you have to buy a complete unit which includes a plastic housing that holds the bulb and retails for 30 bucks a piece. Has anyone installed these? Rovers North told me that you have to enlarge the hole in the gauge bezel that the sticker covers (where the light shines through) so that the new part will slip in. Upon first inspection it looks as though the new piece is wider than the recess in the bezel and will not fit down in the recess properly.

Does this require a different bezel as well?

Make ( or have someone make it for you) a new label for the old face. It's easy to make decals with a computer and a printer. Model builders do it all of the time.

Just FYI, fan control goes on the right side of the gauge cluster.

Yes it was just easier to take a pick standing on the outside of the truck.

The part numbers for the stickers are:

MTC 6006 Heater
MTC 6007 Fan

I have a fan sticker and have ordered a new heater sticker from John Craddock.

I was wondering if anyone has actually installed the new units. It almost looks like they would fit in a different bezel. I'm assuming they are a TD5 part???
