Just ran the zip on Google, that is 112 miles away (one way), that is a little out of my range. I thought it might be on the east side or something....sorry.

Check out the Rover Shoppe http://www.rovershoppe.com/

I was in Houston for six weeks last summer and stopped in a couple time to talk with them about Defenders. Seemed to be solid folks. I imagine they would do a good evaluation for a minimal fee. Ask for Vic and see what he can do for you.

Good Luck!

The Rover Shoppe in Houston is great and has done all the service on my D-90 for several years. In fact Vic has serviced mine since new when he was the service manager at the Land Rover dealership in '94.
The Rover Shoppe used to charge $75 for an inspection. They are very honest guys. I would do it for you but I am totally not qualified... all I seem to able to do is take mine apart.. then ask for help... lol

It's only about 1/2 an hour from me. I could take a look at it for you over the weekend - either Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.

If it belongs to a guy with the email Bud Weiserstein, I talked with him about it August-Sept of last year. Justin Nevitt at North Texas Rover knows the truck a little... he'll give you the straight dope, tell him Dakon advised you to call.

Oh, that's clever. Turd Ferguson is also a funny name.

Jeffrey,

I can probably still go by late this afternoon if you're still interested in it. I don't know if I'll be back online again today so call or text me on my phone 713.992.4501.
