Have a virgin in terms of treatment (save what was done at the factory) 15yo frame with no rust (just trust me on this statement please)...says something in my mind about the metal as there are threads debating various forms of metal quality historically. I want to keep it solid like it is now and they use salt around these parts.
Anyway, my research has led me to believe a professional application of this stuff is probably the best option out there.
Rust Check displaces H2O and is self repairing. In theory, if you scratch the metal...it fixes itself. Appealing to me on the "use the truck" every day - that is the plan. Galvy if scratched needs galvy paint...so in theory, nothing is perfect.
It drips for about 4 -8 days....the stuff goes "up" almost like liquid helium.
Does anyone on this forum have real world experience doing this to their rover. I am looking for hard data. It is mostly used in Canada.
