Anyone have an alternator pulley and a harmonic balancer they can measure?
I'm investigating the possibility of installing a tach from a gas v8 '90 into a different vehicle. I'm curious what the pulley ratios are so I can make the tach read "accurately". I know the pot can be adjusted on these vdo units, but I don't know if that adjusts the scale, or just shifts the scale on which it reads. Anyone played with these before?
