Anyone Ever fitted a RH drive instrument cluster to a LH dash?

I was wondering if anyone ever attempted to fit a RH drive Instrument cluster to a LH drive dash. Sounds kooky I'm sure, but I'd like the idea of the speedometer on the far left, instead of far right, since my line of sight would be better focused on the other, smaller instruments. The Idea being to replace the gauges with VDO's, Speedometer, Tach, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temp (then put the fuel, a voltage and clock in the center dash).

Anyone ever try it? Anything physically in the way of doing such that anyoen is aware of? I've attached a photo of the reversed instrument cluster on a RH drive, unfortunately the best photo I could find in a quick search of the web was one that someone had mounted an electronic 'instrument' over the smaller instruments...

Would I need a new 'annunciator' panel as well? Anyone?

I don't like your answer, but thanks Randy. I was afraid that would be the case, it was a nice thought though..
