Depends on which design you like the most. The trucklites are the closest to stock (design) but also the most expensive.

I installed the Wipac lights from Lucky 8. The fit and look very original. There is not much room in the plinth, so the plugs are on exposed to the tire spray. I wanted to use an o-ring sealed multi plug, and that took a bit of time to sort the wiring. Spend some time thinking how you want to wire them. The way I did it is a one way conversion due to drilling. Also, you will need to install the load balancers or use an adjustable flasher. I used the adjustable one which works well, but the trailer indicator also flashes with the signals. Good luck!

Closest to NAS stock?

There are NAS style LEDs and there are ROW style LEDs. I believe Wipac and RDX make versions of both and the NAS ones cost more. Is Trucklite only the NAS style? Someone need to get ahold of each and do a comparison. A great project for a magazine.....

The Trucklite / Rubbolite LED ones for NAS stock that we've referenced a bunch of times are closest to the stock appearance for a NAS truck. They are the ones that ECR also uses for their builds, and we have had a few lengthy threads and group buys for these lights put together on this forum. The Wipac lights that RoversNorth and Lucky8 and the like sell to replace the NAS stock lights show individual ports for each diode and do not look as close to the NAS stock appearance as the Trucklite/Rubbolite ones that Mud UK is selling.

I do not know anything about the ROW lights.

I just thought it best to mention that there are two different styles as people tend not to say which kind they are looking for. Rovers North sells both.

FYI. MUD sell the LE Perei lamps that are the OE spec' lamps LR uses on its special edition models. This lamp is now the closest to the look of the original NAS lamps since the Trucklite lamps are now no longer available in the ECR style.

Trucklite has changed the design of its lamp so that it now looks exactly like the Wipac/RDX/RN lamp with the more pronounced LED units. The Trucklite part numbers have remained the same despite the change of lamp style.

Wow, really? Did you order trucklites and those showed up, or how'd you find this out?

That's exactly how I found out!

To add to the confusion the Trucklite website was showing a mixture of both old and new style lamps. Following discussions with Trucklite in the UK they've assured me they have no old stock remaining.

The ECR Trucklite rear LED lamps are officially unobtanium!
