Anti-Rock Sway Bars

Anyone here installed an Anti-Rock sway bar on their truck? Steve, formally of Rovertym, allegedly installed a few of these on Rovers throughout the years. The only Anti-Rock sway bar I'm aware of on a Rover is on a red D-90 owned by a guy named JP who lives somewhere in Colorado.

I'm searching for pictures of this installation. What I liked about the one I saw was the torsion bar was mounted in front of the rear axle, and not under the gas tank like on off-the-shelf products being sold. If anyone has photos of this I would really like to see them.

On a D-90 Front Anti-Rocks can mounted in the mounting ears of a custom bumper. Hole saw ears, weld in Anti-Rock, weld sway bar ear tabs on axle near front radius arm mounts and position sway bar links. I think I have a photo, I'll try to find it.

Dan, I seem to recall someone on pirate4x4 doing this. Did you try searching there?

Lane installed a rear AR sway bar (via Buck), Brendon has one too fitted to his red D90,
and I have photos of JP's D90 showing the front bar I could dig up...

OK I found the pics I took, JP's Defender and Brendon's too.

Dan, I'm interested in doing this myself so I can improve on-road manners and not lose any offroad capabilities (would combine with a suspension/shock upgrade as well). You mention the rear, but are you planning on doing both front and rear?

Frank, unless there is some reason not to, can you share your thoughts here so the rest of us can benefit?

Here is the JP anti-rock on the rear

Check out X-Eng's rear sway disconnect kit. Si came up with a pretty cool disconnect system.

It's super secret...only kidding, really depends on the application and it's easier to talk about it than try and offer something generic. Nothing special, but a lot variables...

1) It does not fit a 90

2) that design sucks. It would get ripped off in a minute.

3) it's gold

I'll call you when I'm not stoned. You probably got some pretty heavy shit, and you can do that with good pot.
