Another Weight Question?

Hi guys,

How much does an AL hardtop, front complete doors, and rear full door weigh? How about front bumper? Rear Bumper? Thanks, I am trying to figure something out here.

Hi David, I thought maybe someone with more pieces might weigh in (pun intended har har!). I'd like to help out. I've got a stock bumper with brush bar off of one at the moment -is that the bumper weight you're after?
If the stock rear bumper is also what you're after I can have one off without too much trouble and weigh it too.
Let me know if that would help.

Hi,

Thanks. That would be great but I really don't want you to go to too much trouble. I am just trying to answer a question to myself about the rear sprung weight. If you have them lying around, it would help but don't pull anything off for me! Thanks

I suppose a hard top must weigh in at around 100 lbs, maybe a bit less. Once I've got it balanced on my sholders it was relatively easy to walk up a couple of planks into the back of the truck and drop the whole think onto the mounts. read door with glass etc around 20-25 lbs.
Hope this helps

Are you thinking door with wind up windows?
I've a couple of rusty second row safari doors lying about but I'm off to the Land Rover World show right now
