Alpine Bow studs

Installing a new Alpine Bow on a 94 ST. The old studs from a previous bow are still solidly bedded in the cage. Before I give them too much elbow, does anybody know if the originals would have the same spring ball connection? Is there any chance the old could be threaded in there? Pictures of old studs and new bow end attached. Thanks!

I could not get mine off. I drilled out the rivet and replaced it with a bolt after I did not like my cotter pin solution.

It looks like you've already sprayed it with some penetrating oil or something. Hit it a couple of times with a hammer to see if you can shock it loose at all. But yeah, the originals had the same spring ball as your new one.
