Allisport Radiator Coolant?

Got one going in this weekend. Is standard coolant acceptable? Is there a better option?

Just good green coolant and distilled water and you want to be fancy no brass fill cap and earth it to the chassis.

So will the typical brass filler caps essentially react with the aluminum and result in galvanic corrosion?

I did ask this Q with Alisport no anwser to that but did say something about making ally ones. There are other alley rad builders that say not to use brass in the long haul.
I am sure every body has an option, but it's your call in the end. I use the plastic fill plug and the rad is earthed.

HI Dave,

Just use Standard coolant and yes you can use a brass plug but use a little light grease.

Regards,
James
I still might go with plastic.

I wonder why he did not make them to take standard radiator caps. It would have made more sense.

edit: Oh, you are talking about the radiator.

Thanks John. I'll order a blue bling aluminum plug. I'm a bit concerned about the brass/aluminum reacting.
