Radiator and intercooler went in with only minor adjustments. The header tank on the other hand isn't going in as advertised. The bonnet prop arm gets in the way. Anybody else come up with an acceptable solution?
Check the ReedX link. I can take some pics of when I get home this evening if you need. This should def work for you, as it goes nowhere near the header tank.
Edit - And if the parts are too expensive now, I would buy stuff that is similar from another make and model and make it work. It is just a normal car XYZ style hood prop.
Dave, there's also another kind of straight prop rod that I had on my truck. It basically sits parallel to the rib on the bonnet so should be out of the way of the tank. I would take a picture but...
I used a similar rod I got from Pic-n-Pull, I think from a Subaru. Mine hooks in a rectangular slot in the top of the radiator casement, LH side. Used the same hood mounting point as the stock LR unit. I love having the hood way up above my head when open. Mine does rattle at idle against the heater box though.
