Air Vent Pins

Anyone know where I can buy new Vent pins. Is there any other styles out there or am stuck with prying the ends apart to hold them in place? Do they come in stainless or painted only? Thanks for the advice.

Mine had acorn nuts at the end, they're from a 1999, but I don't know where you would get them.

Stephen Peters had some of the new style with the nuts. They are much better than the older style.

Anyone know if they're stainless? I could use a set as well.

The only thing I could find on his website were the Series style:
http://www.safarihp.com/334121.html

Others must be a call-in item not listed.

Damn someone has to make them in stainless with the acorn nuts. I'm on the hunt...will report back if I turn them up.

What are these "officially" called btw...just vent hinge pins?

Completely stainless would be a awesome. A touch of grease the vent would open up smooth. Let me know what you find.

Britcar calls them "Bulkhead Vent Hinge Pin"

Any idea what the diameter is? I'm looking through McmasterCarr
3/16 dia x 3-1/8" long plus nut
