aftermarket heating module

guys i really want to buy this thing called an eberspacher hydronic heating module...its made in germany but they have vendors in toronto s i was just wondering if anyone has ever gotten one or knows anything about pricing and whatnot

Its sold here as the Espar, click the link in my sig line to see the details of my install. I installed the diesel one, but there is a gas version too. You spend a lot of time in the mountains? The whole thing comes out to about 1300 bucks.

In the U.S. a similar product made by Webasto is sold with dealers all over the place.... bloody freaking fantastic....

Last time I checked (last year), the Webastos were way expensive - like $1800. Not sure if there are better deals around, but Jim's install looks (gulp) reasonable at $1300. I've heard of a few people coming across used ones on eBay every now and then.

Yeah, there's some good threads if you search "eber".

I have two of the things, not exactly cheap. But the look on peoples faces as you jump into your warm, frost free 90 while they're chiseling ice of windshields is priceless!

Highly recommended if you spend a lot of time below freezing.
