Advice on custom legs for my 110 middle seats

I'm doing some customization of the middle row seats, particularly the legs that the middle row 60/40 rest on. I've replaced the pivots that the legs rotate on in the bracket with quick release pins, and now I want to modify the leg itself (not the part on the seat, but the part that stays on the bracket when you pull the seat). I've confirmed that the legs are 3/4" OD, and clearly steel pipe. The look like they are just about the same thickness as steel EMT conduit. If I make custom legs out of the conduit, would it have the same strength for supporting a seated person as the original legs? Both are steel, same OD and roughly same thickness. I'll get a manual bender to do the 30deg bend on it.

Thoughts?
