Adjusting Defender Drum brakes
It seems like I am always suffering from what I think is too much pedal travel on my brakes on my NAS 110. I routinely adjust the rear drums but I wonder if I am doing the job properly. I usually rotate the drum, turn the cam till the wheel stops and then back off until I feel that the brake shoe is not dragging on the wheel.
Am I backing off too much?
How do you guys do your brakes?
