Will post up when I get the sailmakers opinion. Had already taken it to really high quality upholstery shop in town & they said I'd probably be better off with a sailmaker, of which there are plenty of here in the Galveston-Kemah area.

Awesome thanks. There is no doubt this will help. The only question is what material , and how to make sure it will permanently adhere.
